Hair Loss and Restoration
RetroChic Beauty provides hair restoration and solutions to those with thinning hair, general hair loss, cancer patients, male pattern hair loss, alopecia, menopausal or childbearing mothers and those experiencing genetic and systemic issues.
During your consultation, your hair history will be reviewed. Your concerns will be thoroughly discussed, along with your medical history, nutrition, lifestyle, hair care practices and family history.
Your issues will then be clearly explained along with your options for managing the condition. This may include going back to your GP or dermatologist for blood tests. All the information will be sent to you by email within a week following your consultation.
Treatment plans are provided with your consultation, and focus on services, supplements, and lifestyle changes that can be implemented at home. One of those lifestyle changes is how you treat your hair and the products you use. Preparations may be recommended in the treatment of scaling, inflammation and infection. Other products such as over the counter medications may be recommended.
TRANSFORM YOUR HAIR WITH PROVEN HAIR LOSS TREATMENTS
I am passionate about helping you restore your confidence and achieve natural, healthy hair growth. I offer a range of hair loss treatments that have shown proven efficacy in combating hair loss and promoting regrowth. A one-size-fits-all approach is not effective. That’s why I customize treatment plans tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Scale Removal
This Treatment includes careful removal of thick, adherent scale from the scalp, using extra time under the steamer to loosen plaque.
Microneedling
Microneedling is a technique that involves using tiny needles to create micro-injuries on the scalp, which may stimulate blood flow and promote hair growth. Studies have shown that microneedling, when combined with other hair loss treatments, can be effective in treating hair loss and promoting hair growth. Microneedling could be used either as an alternative treatment or to boost topical medications effectiveness for hair loss. It'll help boost scalp health and maintain a fuller head of hair.
Hair Growth Stimulants
Hair Growth Stimulants act as accelerators for hair follicles by propelling their natural growth pattern, extending their length, improving their width and diameter and, in some cases rehabilitating hair follicles which would otherwise remain inactive.
Low-Level Laser Therapy
Non-invasive light technology to stimulate energy production within the cell and scientifically induce regrowth of thicker, fuller hair. It has been clinically proven that red light therapy, administered typically at wavelengths of 633-670 nm with a power of 5mW, improves the width and diameter of the hair shaft by 48% over the course of 90 days. LLLT aims to accelerate cell regeneration and expedite healing in certain areas of the scalp by simulating cell division. LLLT is FDA cleared, and must be used at least twice a week in order for it to show results.
Hair Replacement
There are some cases when hair loss may be irreversible. I offer non- surgical hair replacement, which is an alternative to hair loss, especially when wigs and surgical options are not desired. A consultation will be given to present a thorough explanation of your options. The systems are 100 percent human hair and are custom designed to fit your unique specifications.
High-Frequency
Treatment
A high-frequency treatment is an intensive hair therapy used to treat hair loss, hair thinning, dandruff, and alopecia. It uses ultra-violet and high-frequency rays to boost blood supply to the hair follicles, encouraging hair growth.

Can Health Insurance Cover the Costs of your Medical Wig?
If you've lost your hair due to medical reasons such as chemotherapy, alopecia, or trichotillomania, you may file an insurance claim to help cover the cost of your cranial prosthesis if your health plan provides coverage due to medical hair loss.

What is Cranial Prosthesis?
A cranial prosthesis is the medical term for a wig. The term is used when applying for medical insurance or tax deduction status. Other common terms include full cranial prosthesis, hair prosthesis, cranial hair prosthesis, extra-cranial prosthesis. When applying for insurance coverage, be sure to use the preferred terminology required by your health insurance. Your insurance provider may have specific requirements.

Your Coverage Depends on Your Insurance Plan
To get started, find out if your policy covers the cost of a cranial prosthesis and how much of the cost is covered. Your medical provider can help you request a prescription for a cranial prosthesis, including the diagnosis code and procedure code. It’s also a good idea to ask for a letter clarifying that your selected cranial prosthesis is medically necessary for your emotional well-being.
